Gourd Weaving Class - Knotless Netting

Interested in doing a one-day gourd class? Using a pre-cleaned gourd, sized from 7" - 7.9",  each student will prepare their gourd using leather dye. Although the gourd is pre-cleaned, you will still need to do more cleaning and preparing by cutting the opening and drilling the holes for weaving. That is done in the morning.

In the afternoon, we will be weaving using knotless netting with waxed linen. You can add beads to the weaving as you go and then finish off the top using beads as well. Maximum class size will be 6 people.Make your reservation early to be sure there is still room. A deposit of $50 required. The remaining balance will be paid on the day of the class.

The class will be in my studio. The cleaning will be done outside. You will want to dress accordingly, as this is messing. A list of what each student needs to bring will be provided once you register.

Cost: $65 class plus $50 materials.

Materials include a pre-cleaned gourd, waxed linen, leather dye for finishing the gourd and beads.
